3LADE describes himself as “having a vibe for everyone - you just gotta find it!”
This year, 3LADE has released an EP called 3 For The Rage as well as singles "Green Face," "Style," "Low Credit Score," and "me."
LP: How did you get into music?
3LADE: I’ve been involved in the music world since I was five. Going to rock shows with my dad all over the Midwest. I started wanting to create my own world with music when I was twelve years old and since then it’s been a constant progression!
LP: Who are your influences?
3LADE: My influences are kinda all over the place. My influences when I started creating music were Jack Blades (Night Ranger) Eminem and Tech N9ne also Kid Cudi. Nowadays Cudi is still at the top, but I’d say I’m also inspired by Travis Scott, Jpegmafia, Pharrell, and Don Toliver!
LP: Tell me about your 3 For The Rage EP. What was the writing process like? What's the story behind each track?
3LADE: 3 For The Rage EP was created to bring a new flavor into the world of Ragers Paradise. Truthfully there was no writing process; it was all one-take reference tracks that I eventually took to FSP to record! Track one “Dumb Thot” is just a story of a new beginning, but people still trying to hang on and when the line was cut they didn’t wanna go. Track two “Thinkin” is the thought process behind wanting someone so bad that your brain continuously focuses on them. Just a constant desire for a special someone! Track three “Acid In Paradise” is a simple track produced by SaltBeatz crafted specifically for the ragers that wanna vibe sometimes!
LP: Tell me about your single “Style.”
3LADE: “Style” was a track for the ragers that wanna go hard. While creating the song I couldn’t hear anyone else on the song besides SleazyWorld Skyy. I just wanted to capture the moment of feeling like everything was falling into place. Hence the crystal ball line!
LP: Tell me about your single “Green Face.”
3LADE: “Green Face” was honestly a song I made as a joke, but it gets a lot of praise and a popular one amongst the fanbase!
LP: Tell me about your single “Low Credit Score.”
3LADE: “Low Credit Score” was made because I saw my credit score (which is the cover art). I was trying to make light of having a really bad credit score!
LP: Tell me about your newest single “Me.”
3LADE: “Me” was created to make sure the listener always picks them in the situation, good or bad. While on tour with Schwem back in March we discussed the song, and fast forward to May I sent the song to Werk Jones, and he wanted to put a verse on it as well so what we call the works of the universe we took the song to FSP to create what is out right now!
LP: What’s next for you as an artist?
3LADE: I’m very excited for 2025, but as for the rest of 2024 I’m going to be releasing a project titled “Bladeo” on November 22nd. I still have a few dates on the fall leg of shows!
