Prymer, a pure rock-n-roll band based out of Warrensburg, MO, just released their first single of the year "Either Way."

The single is a follow-up to the band's single "Shatterpoint" released last year.

"Either Way" is electrifying and energetic - evoking excitement from the very first second. Prymer is a band who hold a yin-yang element to their sound of retro and modern alike; at first listen, one could almost think they were a lost hair-metal band from the 1980s. But Prymer consists of more than just their influences - their live shows in particular pack an abundance of energy. Their sound itself is larger than life, so much so that one may forget that this band has only three members.

I spoke to Prymer about "Either Way":

LP: What’s the story behind “Either Way”?

Prymer: “Either Way” is about the blind obsession we can all often acquire with celebrities or people with a high social status. It’s so easy for us all to defend, stand up, and side with people we don’t know because of our admiration for them.

LP: What was the writing / recording process like?

Prymer: We recorded this one in Nashville with our boy Malcolm Springer. Writing and recording the song felt really good from start to finish so it went really fast.

LP: What’s next for the band?

Prymer: This upcoming year we plan to release as many singles as we possibly can!
